We are Grant and Tonja. Our cats are Merlin and Maisey.
You can call us by many names.
Cat parents, cat mom or cat dad, cat lovers, cat owners…but, it all comes down to in the end…we love cats.
Together we can show and tell you a lot about what you need to know to raise your furry member of the family.
We’ve both had cats our whole life.
My cat stories were different from my wife, Tonja’s because her cats were always indoor cats and mine were outdoor. So, I think that actually strengthens our arsenal of helping tools we can offer, having a wide range of experiences.
Plus, we have family members or close friends that have up to nine, ten, or twelve cats or more, so, we’re around cats of all kinds.
Plus, together, we have around 134 years of experience with cats.
And if we get very deep into the health of cats, I’ll bring in various veterinarians who is qualified in that field of advice if needed.
Introducing Merlin and Maisey
In our house now, we have Merlin and Maisey. They are brother and sister and do their best to uphold that image. One minute they’re cleaning each other’s face and ears with love in their eyes when suddenly it’s a slap fest and rumble-tumble across the floor.
So, here’s Merlin. Confident, striking, very judgemental. He thinks he’s the cat’s pajamas but he’s really a momma’s boy. You’ll get to know him well.
And here’s Maisey. Innocent, spacey, and very accident-prone. Not quite as stealthy as her brother. She likes to act like she’s hoity-toity, but, she’s really a daddy’s girl.
We look forward to sharing our experiences, and tips we’ve picked up along the way, toys and treats that Merlin and Maisey love and hopefully we can help you enjoy one of the best loving companions you could have…your cat.
